Our Organic Roots

The building we are converting is currently called Dunnington Lodge - its an old farm house and was in fact an "organic" farm. Here are some pictures of the old oil tank which was used to display vegetable prices.

Building Work in Progress

Here are some photos taken today of Colin and his merry team of builders, they have only been at work for just over a week and the changes made to Dunnington Lodge (as it was) are amazing.

I'll put a post up with the floor plans as soon as I can scan them in. The shell of the building will remain intact but internally we're doing all we can to open out the rooms as much as possible to create a fantastic space for the children.

Welcome

Whilst waiting for our web site to launch, I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog for anyone who might have an interest in Little Green Rascals.

We're so excited to be opening in June 2009 - after 15 months of planning building work has finally started and even within a week the nursery is starting to take shape.
